Privacy
Flow is operated by PLLAR, an unincorporated software business based in the United States. We store the account and product data needed to run Flow. We do not sell personal data, show ads, or share personal information for third-party marketing.
What we collect
- Account email and first name.
- Content you create: Held items, journal entries, Coach conversations, and supporting-tool entries.
- Security metadata: a pseudonymous account ID, sign-in/session records, IP address, app or browser version, and technical error details.
- If you use Share a moment, the text and optional signature you enter are published on a public link that anyone with the URL can open. You can remove that link from the share screen. Deleting your account also removes your public shares.
How we collect it
- You provide account details when you create an account or sign in with email, Sign in with Apple, or Google.
- If you buy Flow Pro, Apple processes the payment. Flow stores that the subscription is active, not your card number.
- You create content when you write in Held, Journal, Coach, supporting tools, or Share a moment.
- The app automatically records limited security and service metadata when you use Flow.
How we use it
- Operate your account, sync and display your content, and provide the features you choose.
- Generate an optional Coach reply through Anthropic after you grant permission in the app.
- Send essential account email, keep the service secure, and recover from outages.
What we do not collect
- Contacts or photos.
- Location.
- Advertising IDs.
- Microphone audio, unless a later version asks and you tap to speak.
Coach / AI
When you use Coach, Flow asks for permission in the app before the first send. After you tap Send to Anthropic, Coach sends the current message, recent conversation in that thread, and any Held text you attached in that message to Anthropic’s Claude, a third-party AI company, solely to generate a reply. Coach is not medical care, diagnosis, or emergency support. Optional spoken playback on the web may send a reply to OpenAI only to create audio.
Other processors
We share personal data with these processors only to operate Flow. They must protect it with confidentiality, encryption in transit, and use limits that provide the same or equal protection as this policy. They may not use Flow personal data for their own marketing.
- Anthropic: Coach replies after you grant permission in the app.
- Resend: invitations, password resets, and essential account email.
- Expo: optional push delivery when you enable notifications.
- PostHog: content-free product events only, if analytics is on. Never Held, journal, Coach, email, or name content.
- Sentry: scrubbed crash diagnostics only when crash reporting is configured.
- Vercel: hosting. Marketing-site analytics do not include form fields or Flow account content.
Your controls
In the app: You → Export your data, You → Danger zone → Delete my account, and the analytics toggle. Email pllardev.support@gmail.com for a request you cannot complete in the app.

Flow is not intended for users under 13.
